This was hyped beyond belief so I didn’t know what expect. I found it very long and easy to read but until the last 100 pages, I wasn’t super compelled to turn pages. The last bit though, shockingly good.

Like Berry’s other works, this is a compelling and page turning novel that I quite enjoyed. I would definitely recommend and I can’t wait to read more backlist titles from this author!

This was exactly what I’ve come to expect from this author. It’s unique and I love that it was told from the slashers point of view! You never see that and I loved them walking right into all the horror movie tropes! I really enjoyed this one and I recommend this if you liked any of this authors previous novels!

This wasn’t quite what I expected, but it definitely felt very claustrophobic and lock in type mystery. I really needed to know what was happening and I cruised through this. I’m a bit confused about the ending but I think that’s on me, not on the book. Definitely recommend. 

So so good. I was instantly addicted to the storyline and wanted to know which characters were guilty AF. I couldn’t put this down, read the entire thing in one sitting and highly recommend. 

So good. I really didn’t know where this was going to go with its craziness but I was super into the story and I felt so much anxiety for this main character. I was shocked by the ending and I loved it!

Not as slasher like as I had anticipated, but I did enjoy the characters and the big twists in this very much!

I enjoyed this just as much as her first novel and the characters were just as well formed. I loved seeing Marley and Bennett again and the setting of this one was totally perfect. 

This was my book club read for this month and I was disappointed to hear it was this novel, but I was shocked and pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this one and all the characters. It wasn’t what I expected. 

Whoa. This was somethinggg. It was gory, gross and made me really think. It made me more curious about her other novels and definitely made me get educated.
