The Body Next Door by Maia Chance

This novel was super unique. I really thought I had an idea kid what I was getting into but man was I wrong. I really thought there were some aspects that maybe didn’t totally belong, but yet it made the whole thing so much more addicting. It was totally unique with the most wild stuff without any explanation of how or why but it didn’t matter at all to me!
The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t with Her Mind by Jackson Ford

This has been on my TBR for ages, I had orginally bought it because of the title and cover and it’s the book my husband and picked off my shelf for January. It was a fairly quick read and I really did love the characters and their little odd ball family. I think now I’ll need the best instalment now!

This was so adorable. I loved every minute with these characters and their personalities. I haven’t read any of the authors other books but they are all a must read for me now. These characters felt like friends and it was so perfect.

This wasn’t exactly what I was thinking it was going to be, but it was a decently interesting novella. Not what I expected after My heart is a chainsaw trilogy and all the gory and twists. I still recommend starting his writing with that trilogy. So good.
Black Water Rising by Attica Locke

I’m not really sure what I was expecting, but this felt a bit busy while trying to keep track of all the characters. The writing was quite good but I just struggled through the beginning of this one.
Lights Out by Elise Hart Kipness

I’m shocked how quick and easy to read this novel was! I loved the main character and all the drama around this small community. I cannot wait to dig into the next!
Nice Girls by Catherine Dang
4.25
This has been on my TBR for ages and I’m so glad I finally read it. It was a total binge read - I started and finished it within 24 hours. It’s super addicting and I really didn’t know who was the guilty party. Loved the twists and the pacing of this one.
You're Invited by Amanda Jayatissa

This is my first book from this author, so I went in not really knowing what to expect. I liked the premise and the idea behind the whole thing, but for whatever reason I didn’t connect with the characters or story. The twists were great though.
A Killing Cold by Kate Alice Marshall

Thank you to NetGalley, Kate Alice Marshall and Macmillan audio for the free ebook in exchange for an honest review.
This was definitely by far my favourite from Marshall! This was twisty and full of action. I love a good locked on an island in the winter type genre and also the rich people acting bad so this was perfect. Totally obsessed and listened as fast as I could.
The Spare Room by Andrea Bartz

This is my first Bartz and I’m so excited to meet her in May! This was such a fun and suspenseful novel that kept me guessing right until the very end. I’m so excited to dig more into Bartz’s backlist. This was so good.
