This book was a little slow to start (lots of descriptive details), I soon realised it was very much necessary so show the need the characters had for connection. The author had me worrying about some of the characters and where their story was heading, although some of the wrapping up of stories was a bit rushed.

It was still an interesting book to read, I can see the message of connection and friendship being important. As well as your future isn’t set in stone - you change your mind on what you want in life!

P.s. please ready to the end of the acknowledgements, there is a very important bit of information in there!

Loved the message of this book, the writing is good, I would’ve loved a bit more detail in some areas. I do already have the sequel at the top of my list to buy!
I would recommend checking the trigger warnings before reading as there is some graphic content within the book.
