Darth Vader and Son (Star Wars Comics for Father and Son, Darth Vader Comic for Star Wars Kids) by Jeffrey Brown

Sometimes you just really need something adorable and Star Wars-y. Everything Jeffrey Brown does gives me all kinds of mushy feelings, and this, with its mixture of cute kid stuff and nostalgia, is no exception.
Lady Killer by Jamie Rich

Mid century housewife who's secretly an assassin? Yeah, I was so there. I was there as soon as I saw the cover. A lady kicking ass in a poofy pink dress has my name written all over it.
I gave volume 1 of Lady Killer three stars because while I love the concept and am intrigued by the characters, I wanted so much more, and the ending felt abrupt. I wish there were more setup, because I'm craving back story. What organization is Josie working for? Why are they killing these people? What's her history with Peck? How did she get started? What's going on with Mother Schuller? Why did we have to get rid of Ruby, omg? I need answers!

Commercial Suicide by Kieron Gillen

I was slightly disappointed when I learned that these issues dropped back and examined Pantheon backstory rather than continue the plot as it left off in Vol. 2. However, there is enough insight and plot progression to satisfy, and I enjoyed exploring certain events more deeply. Plus that cliffhanger! I need issue 18 now!
