Starts strong with lots of intrigue and promise. Clearly lots is not very original, but it is still a very fun read. However, I found a lot of the mystery solutions toward the end to be vague and unsatisfying.

Wonderful imagery and imagination. Full of melancholy, but thoughtful. I recommend.

I am neither male nor facing a mid-life crisis, so my ability to relate to this book is limited. I did, however, find it entertaining.
