I loved this with all my heart, loved her exploration of the scary dark parts of our minds alongside the terror and unknown of the ocean, loved the relationship between Leah and Miri and how well she balanced their perspectives, loved the dark gothic mariner undertones that made it feel like an old poem or story at some parts, but most of all loved how tight and concise the concept was, never straying from its purpose or ideas and holding my attention raptly throughout!! Such an amazing novel to follow the brilliance that was Salt Slow.
