I was so busy focusing on one characters and how suspicious they were that I didn’t even catch the other major obvious secret.

One of the better thrillers I’ve read in a while. I wish there was a little bit more to the ending but not so much that I disliked the book.

For 3/4 of the book I was bored. Then it got intense and I was hooked. But now I’m left with so many questions and no closure……..

If you are looking for a quick read, with a lovable male love interest, this is a great choice. Some parts made me really love Lorenzo (I’ll leave those for you to discover!!) I do wish that the book was longer so that as a reader, we could grow more attached to the characters and experience more of the world crafted. Some things felt rushed that I felt could have really filled out the world or character personalities more. I really enjoyed the uniqueness of the different witch powers and enjoyed reading about Alma and hers.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
