Not very scary for me, but I'm also a seasoned horror book reader. I did enjoy the story and the narrator so overall a good listen.

This is one of my favorite series. I love the wintry setting and the lodge. I want to go there, we'll minus the murder lol
I read this one quickly because it's just a fun cozy mystery. I sincerely appreciate the author and NetGalley for the review copy.

I love Phoenixes. Always have. I haven't read a book about them I really like, until now. This was a lot of fun to read. Love the characters, the story and the flow. Glad I started this series.

I needed a book to read while traveling, and I wanted a scary and/or thriller to read. I read another book by this author and really enjoyed it so I snagged this at a cute little bookshop while in Florida. Then I read it on three days 😂
I love books with serial killers. The mystery, the thrills and chills and the twists are a great way to drink my coffee in the morning and wake up.
I haven't read many scary books lately that have a good storyline and great characters. This has that and more. I would think I had this figured out but then... surprise!
Perfect vacation book and a really good one for Spooktober. Highly recommend.

I really wanted to read a good haunted house story. While this was an ok story, it wasn't scary...at all. This would be a good one for readers who want a Spooktober book that is spooky but not terrifying.

I enjoy stories with werewolves and was excited to receive a review copy of Cure. Most stories about werewolves and shapeshifters are similar. What I enjoyed most about Cure is that it's not. It has a unique perspective which was easy to fall into.
I love Luna. She is a great character. Her journey as she discovers who she is, what happened to her brother, and where her familial history fits makes for quick reading. There are some action scenes which added some fun for me too. I do love me some action scenes.
Overall, a well-rounded story with good writing and characters. Perfect for those Spooktober lists. I sincerely appreciate the author and Books Forward for sharing this story with me.

I was really looking forward to this one as I've enjoyed the author's previous works. This read more like a YA suspense/thriller than anything else. I typically enjoy YA but while this one was enjoyable, it wasn't great.
I think the fact that they were supposed to be college students but acted more like high schoolers was the biggest let down for me. Not to mention, this kind of story has been done plenty of times before so the outcome was predictable for me.
Overall not a bad story and for the most part I did enjoy it. I sincerely appreciate NetGalley for the review copy.

When I'm Dead by Hannah Morrissey

This was a pretty quick read, and for the most part enjoyable. I figured out early on, once the character was first introduced, who the murderer was. That really didn't take away from the story as a whole and I still ended up enjoying it.
I sincerely appreciate the review of copy from NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.
