Wow! Book 2 was not a disappointment! I did check the authors IG and saw the book 3 is projected Jan 31-Feb, 2025. I started this series 2 weeks ago and it was addicting. I really enjoyed how we got more POVs this book from other characters. I like how the author is connecting all the threads and introducing new conflicts. This book had way more scenes and i loved every second of them! I don't care what anyone says, Souxie is my girl! I love her unhinged self!

I reread this with my bestfriend and I still stand by my original review of the book.

Jamison Shea's novel, "I Feed Her to the Beast and the Beast Is Me," offers a captivating and unsettling horror narrative that delves into thought-provoking critiques of oppressive systems. This book uniquely examines themes of self-nurturance, found family, and the intricate dynamics between privilege and power. Seamlessly weaving together elements of systemic racism, demons, and the weight of sacrificing oneself for a world that refuses to reciprocate love.

My only issue is that the last 20/30% of the book could have been a little quicker in my opinion but it was things we needed to know so I was pleased by the end of the book. I'm definitely going to pick up the next book.
