This was a really cute standalone manga! This book takes place during lockdown and revolves around our two MCs (who are neighbors). They adjust to working from home and eventually find out that they share a lot in common. I adored the introvert vs. extrovert moments that these two share together and the blossoming relationship was everything! I plan on picking up more from this author 💖

Oh, how I missed my MCs!! This volume focuses on the two of them living together and how their everyday routines adjust to the other person. The romance is still adorable and the other characters and their stories are starting to pick up a little bit. This felt like a teaser for volume 11, as 10 wasn’t long enough!!

Ugh, my heartstrings! For friends asking what I thought about this book, here’s my full review: I was reminded how much I loved “You’ve Reached Sam” by Thao, so reading this one was just as heartbreaking in parts.

Eric, our MC, is dealing with grief of the loss of his friend, but along the way, he meets Haru. Haru starts to fill in the voids, but only Eric can see him. Eric’s sister also is one of his biggest supporters/friends, but she’s not around as much as she used to (I loved the small nod to Ann Arbor and UofM in the beginning of the story). Along the way, Eric deals with this grief and seeing Haru in his head, all while making decisions that aren’t always great at times. Once the end of the story was in sight, things started to make sense and crying at the end definitely happened (making that connection and hoping it wasn’t true). Because I also bought the B&N copy, I got to read an exclusive bonus chapter, which made my already somewhat broken/happy heart a little less broken. The ending leaves you knowing that Eric will be alright and even finds some happiness with the one that got away…💕⭐️

Our MCs learn a little more about one another and how to navigate their new relationship. How they cheer each other on near the end of the volume was adorable - they are learning how to be there for one another and it shows with the little interactions they show on the pages 💞

A new school year new firsts! This volume brought some new firsts for both MCs and by the end of the volume, they both came to understand one another more and stepped up their relationship with more firsts 💖 Per the end of this volume, I have been warned that the next installment is FULL of drama…haha bring it!

Another great volume! We got to see more growth between the two MCs and how their relationship is evolving. The ending provided some insight into one of the MC’s past, so I’m looking forward to seeing how this plays out in future volumes.

Ugh, warm fuzzies all the way around with this volume! 💖 I love seeing the development between the two MCs, especially since a new character was thrown into the mix and could have caused some disruption. Here’s to seeing what the next volume brings 🥰

Oooh, this trial run turned into something more and I’m here for all of the feelings between the 2 MCs 💞 I’m looking forward to more happy moments between these two as they figure out how they feel towards each other.

Aww, this first volume was pretty cute! Hotaru offers her umbrella to a classmate that’s sitting alone outside in the snow after a breakup. What she doesn’t know is that her classmate, Hananoi, likes this gesture and wants to trial date her. As they test the waters out, they share cute sides with each other and end on a cute note at the end of the volume. I am looking forward to the next volume to see what happens next in their budding relationship 💞
