King and Maxwell by David Baldacci

I didn't really love it. It was an okay book for me. I feel like if this was a movie or a TV series it would have been better. I think so mainly because the style is so similar for every book in the series that there was nothing refreshing or newness I could find in the book. But for someone who have not read any book in the series this might be great.
Love Like This by Sophie Love

This is very quick read. It is an easy, happy feel-good, light hearted romance. It is a good break if we are going through some serious book, this one will give a very much needed distraction. One thing I was happy about was the none of the characters were desperate to be in love. It shows a teeny-tiny bit of corporate world. There was no complicated tensions in the book. Overall this is a decent read
The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman

It was rather witty for a murder mystery. The interactions were funny and goes in a very comic flow that added to the charm. 3 ⭐️ cos I like murder mysteries to be intense but this is great if we are looking for a light fluffy read
The Killings at Kingfisher Hill by Agatha Christie, Sophie Hannah

The best in the new Hercule Poirot series. The characters were so good and mysterious. Daisy is the most complicated character I had read recently. The mystery was so good. I was anxious to how everything happened and how all the events are connected. I will not say I guessed plot twists way ahead of time but as the plot twists come closer I’m able to connect so I guess if a person want to figure out what’s going’s on I guess it’s possible. Highly recommend this book in the series though I was having mixed feelings about the other books I read from this series
Here, There and Everywhere by Sudha Murty

This is the first time I’m reading of of Sudha Murty’s book though I have been hearing great things about her works. It’s an amazing collection of her works where she writes about her personal experiences at different points in her life. They very sweetly written no matter how difficult the topic under discussion is the words has played in a simple but understandable voice. I am now convinced that I have been really missing out on her works
Just One Evil Act by Elizabeth George

Well, I'm kind of disappointed. Though I have never read any other book in this series when I read the blurb i thought it's interesting and picked it up. But the story was so dragging and the characters or character Barbara so irritating. I felt that the story was unnecessarily dragged. It's 708 pages and there was no need for it and even the ending felt flat and forced. Will i try any other book in the series, I'm not so sure probably no...
When We Let Go by Rochelle B. Weinstein

Oh God!!! This was an emotional read. I cried real hard. This amazing story of second chance, letting go, forgiveness with some amazing characters was just perfect. The setting of the warm farm was also always adding a charm. The cover was what actually made me download the book along with a promising blurb. Though I understand this is going to be an emotional journey I kind of underestimated the grip it is going to have on me. Each characters Avery, Elle, Willow, Jude, Cole, Oliver, Quinn... Everybody's so humane and has gone through so much in their life. Just loved the story and characters
