I really wanted to love this. I may even come back to it at some point. It felt slow, then all of the sudden the main character and love interest were together and I hadn’t even hit 50%. I mean, I love romance but this one was lacking tension that I desperately wanted because I enjoyed so many other aspects of the story!

I really enjoyed reading Avril’s story. I was curious where her story would go after the first book, and this one did not disappoint!
Avril is healing from quite a bit of trauma from her past when she meets Ian (I love Ian 😍) who’s a librarian. For the month of December, she’ll be his date but he can’t know who she is.
I loved reading this love story, this one delves into heavier topics than the first book, but I feel like it was done very well.

Definitely recommend this series!

What a perfect book to read in the middle of winter, in the middle of my own season of wintering. I loved listening to this one so much. It was exactly what I needed.

I really wanted to like this one, a book about friendship! But I hadn't ever listened to these two friends podcast and mostly I just didn't care much about their story.

I loved this little Christmas novella! I had a fun time reading and wished I could be with these characters even longer! A perfect steamy, Christmas book with some You've Got Mail vibes. It was great!
