This romance had a few things I love and few I didn’t.

Don’t let the cover fool you - this is spicy!

Overall, it was a good story. I loved the dual POV, the banter, and the friendships. I liked the background stories of the main characters and the way that they reconnected. I didn’t love some of the nicknames and the pacing felt off to me a bit in certain places. I never felt fully invested in the romance. The spice level was good and flowed with the story. I appreciated the content advisory, the dicktionary and the playlist. These were nice additions to the book. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a beautiful story! This is my first book by this author but I will definitely read another. It tackles an uncomfortable situation wonderfully. It’s still awkward but very true to life. I loved the voices of the teens. They seemed like real, relatable teenagers and each of the characters added something to the story. I also loved the structure of the story, it was different but added another layer to the storytelling. Perfect for adults and teens.
