I enjoyed the witchy ways and the demon banter....but a lot of the plot was internal dialogue, and I never wanted more to scream show me not tell me....but I definitely want to read book 2!

dark messy masc boys in grad school working to solve a mystery from childhood and more recently...
Trauma, death, mysterious curses, and spectral spookiness! Highly recommended this queer spooky story! Serious CWs looks those up if you’re into scary books but be safe.

This is worth the hype!! Loved the Reylo references, and for anyone who doesn't know what that is, you too will enjoy this story, as it is grump/sunshine trope, fake dating, and just well it's very fun and very good! I loved the women in STEM discussions and how easily it is to feel like fraud if men even dare to find you attractive, the sexist boys club that it is. I was a STEM full-ride recipient to undergrad because I was a women and this all rang very true and very well done. Plus the Aspec/demi representation was very much on key, and we really don't get enough romance books exploring that representation.

For a MG series these books are scary AF! Like ghosts scare me as it is, but the darkness involved...whew! Absolutely loved each and every one of these 3!

The award for the most bi-positive cover & book goes to...Fresh! Seriously this book is laugh out loud funny, sexy, and still helps us not fuck up future relationships. College age books and protagonists are still some of my favorite books on the market. This one is good, friends, it's really good.

Fun, slow burn romance with a sad & dramatic side plot line that made me feel so many things. As someone of my age the romcoms were very 90s/00s which was fun.
