I never listened to the podcast and had no idea there was a podcast. I thought this was a nonfiction book about American girl. That being said it was very enjoyable and I will be listening to the podcast.

I support women’s rights but most importantly I support a woman falling so far into her own delusions to disastrous ends.

This book was so long and for what?!? It leads to nothing. What is the point of the character arcs if it doesn’t matter in the last bit? What is point of an 800 page book if nothing the characters work towards in the end matter? Why ask your readers to read an 800 page book just to make everything the characters did not matter?!!

Yeah yeah, evil character is evil and zuko regains his honor. This book is fine. But it’s told in such a way that you feel like you’re at the end of a story when you’re at the beginning. All the big character moments happen in flashbacks. I think it underwritten for the story it wants to tell.
