This book was not what I excepted. I was expecting a gothic-ish novel and I did not get that. There’s a weird romance that is just odd. The main character wasn’t bad but was just not that interesting. I put it down and didn’t want to pick it up again.

I really gotta start looking more into what a book is about besides just vampires. This book is okay, if you can get over that everyone is referred to as male or female, e.g that female got him good. It’s very weird. Also all the guys have this weird alpha male energy. It has a very distinct gender binary that it imposes on all of its characters. If you’re a man, you’re this way, if you’re female, you’re that way. Will not keep reading.,

Good! I wasn’t sure how I was feeling about this book for a good 3/4 of the way through but the ending was great! I still think wor is the best of the series so far but still going to continue!
