This book was so amazing. I loved that this was a Christmas romance, but also more. This story truly examined what it means to work on yourself so that you can be your best self for a relationship. This examines what it means for relationships to evolve because as life changes, so must a relationship. Also, this is just so fun with the visual aspects of the North Pole and the magic. I truly think that this was such a fun story that is so full of love, and also realistic challenges that might happen in a relationship. This is a new holiday favorite

This story was so incredibly fun! The fact that this was about a former child star from a Christmas movie who hates Christmas was the perfect premise. Also her visiting her sister who has a screaming new baby and her in laws staying with her just added so much comedic relief. Then of course the husband British love interest made this a sexy, heart warming story.

This book was such an amazing retelling of this myth. This touched upon so many themes about women being seen as objects and how they have so much more power than men give them credit for, but also this examined the idea of gender as a construct. This book did a really great job of discussing the idea that gender is not two choices, and that everyone is valuable and okay even if they don’t fit into the two boxes of gender that society tends to make us want to fit into. More than anyone, this book was about a love so pure and how love really is the most profound and beautiful thing in this world. I loved this book.

This book was absolutely delightful. I really enjoyed the slightly supernatural element of an enchanted CD player that had songs from the early 2000s playing. I also really liked that. This was a really reflective book thinking about the road not taken. The elements of reflection when it comes to choices when you’re young and choices when you have grown up a little bit was a really great theme to see in this book. Sometimes people get caught up in the choices they could’ve made instead of making choices in the moment and I think this book really addresses that. Also, the spice was really well done and I really felt the emotional connection between these two characters. Overall, this was just a really fun book, but also had some reflective elements and themes.

This was the perfect holiday romance. A lot of tropes that I really enjoyed were in this book, such as friends to lovers, small town, holiday romance, found family and fake dating. So many beautiful things were in this book. I love a best friends turned lovers, and the fake dating aspect was also wonderful. I also really enjoyed the little bit of mystery involved in finding out who was responsible for some weird things going on at the farm. This was overall just such a heartwarming story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I feel like this is going to become a yearly tradition of reading around the holidays because that’s how much I loved it

I really enjoyed this story. I enjoyed going on a culinary journey of Europe with these characters. I also enjoyed the two characters and their relationship and how it developed back into a relationship again through their second chance on this trip. The one thing I didn’t love was the point of view in the very middle of the book. That is the one thing that makes my rating a little bit lower. But overall, I really enjoyed this book. The journey these two went on to find themselves back together was beautiful.

This book was cute. I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters and I always like a second chance romance. The plot of this flowed really well too and it went by quickly. I enjoyed the aspect of trapped in a small town also. I did hate the miscommunication between these two the first time they were together, but I still enjoyed the book.
