I absolutely loved every aspect of this book. From the characters to the story lines, the world building, the sexual tension ... it was all so so so good!!!

Another one knocked out of the park.
Poppy did irritate me through this book but not annoyingly, It’s such a weird balance, I applaud the author for toeing that line with such finesse.
This story is just the best vampire and other supernaturals book I’ve ever read!! Dying for the third

I did not enjoy this series and won’t be finishing the third book.

One day read

I wasn’t sure what to think at first. It’s different than my usual taste of book. I almost stopped reading it because of that. It’s a whimsical tale told in a practical and real way, VE Schwab is just brilliant. I didn’t realize how hooked I was until the last few chapters. I guessed at the ending and was mostly right but it didn’t make it any less emotional- I cried a thousand tears. It wrapped up so beautifully that I felt whole, for the first time in my life, I actually loved where the book ended.

Brilliant read.
