This is it!! This is the one! If all my other holiday reads turn out to be duds I will be ok because of this book! The pacing was great, the holiday themed activities were magical, the care and chemistry and banter between the characters was amazing, and the spicy was warm and decadent! I would be remiss to not mention however that I didn’t care much for the way Kyle the side characters was made fun of, even if it was never to his face. I don’t think it added anything to the story and when his personality was so dry that could have been the focus of her lack of attraction instead of something he has no control over. Outside of that, this was an absolute delight.

This feed my holiday spirit and then some. I’m starting to think the secret to Christmas romance magic is the mountains? That’s just my theory. Mason was something special although his thoughts in the beginning had me side eyeing him a bit. I enjoyed the pace of this, the build up their connection, and they way the genuinely fell into each other. Books like this are why Black romance written by Black woman will always reign supreme in my heart because there were several quotes that spoke life directly into me and you aren’t going to get that just anywhere. This is a new to me author and I am highly intrigued because she poured love into these pages!

What can’t this woman do? This was phenomenal. I absolutely love speculative fiction and I cannot wait for the continuation. This plot, the themes to explore about nature and nature, and the importance of connection. It’s going to be so so good. And heaven help because I might be a little feral over Simon.

I didn’t like that he was cheating the whole time and I couldn’t figure out the time line of events

This was sooo sweet and heartwarming. I could have used just a few more dates but the connection and chemistry was solid. I think I smiled through the whole book.

Even better the second time! Bilal is the definition of pressure. Noora didn’t stand a chance and she honestly didn’t want to. Friends to lovers isn’t always my jam until it is and then I eat it up!! Cause it really is swoonie to have someone know you that well, see you, have years of trust and friendship to fall back on.

This was a decent read. The pacing was ok and the story was ok. It has some good moments and some humor but it just missed the mark. It takes place around Christmas but not a lot of Christmas activities not any much detail. There was a lot of focus on how often women hit on or admired the MMC. I think I would have enjoyed it better if the banter and back and forth would have went on longer. And having all of the spicy scenes be flashbacks instead of in the moment was a little annoying.

The love affair that started with a Christmas why choose, continued with an obsession with a moth, and comes full circle with a unconventional holiday contemporary Instalove. This was cheeky, fun, romantic in the creepiest way, and hot as sin! This is the unhinged I can get behind lol and I’ll deal with whatever that says about me.

This was a low angst, HFN, holiday themed romance. It was a little light on the romantic and holiday activities but I still enjoyed it. This is a new to me author and the first of the 12 days of Christmas and ok start.

This was a sweet and fun read. This is almost exactly the Mahogany Christmas vibes I want all season long. The place it misses is that sometimes the characters dialogue or internal monologue felt loop and confusing and I didn’t like the way some chapters would pick up the events from the other’s pov and it was different but somehow repetitive at the same time. I’m a big fan of rivals or enemies to lovers and when you add in all the magic Christmas moments it was a real treat. This is a “clean” romance from a new to me author and I’m going to be going back to read book 1 of this series!
