So far this has been a solid, enjoyable YA trilogy.

A stellar compilation of short stories by Shirley Jackson. What a tremendous talent!

Interesting take on Alice in Wonderland. Creepy and solidly satisfying.

The Descent was definitely the better book. I was disappointed in the character development. not sure about the whole China/US conflict. it didn't add anything to the story.

Really well crafted. Different from other YA books I've read. Quick, enjoyable read.

This book is so tragic and beautifully written, I couldn't put it down. I loved everything about this book, the characters, the time, the nuances of the family dynamic. Each character demanded your attention. They were flawed and brilliant at the same time. Read this book.
