Action packed. Kind of confusing on audio, but mainly because I was multitasking. Long, but kept me invested the whole time. I'll definitely be checking out #2!

This took me longer to get through than the first, but I think that's more situational than the book itself (January is such a hard month for reading).
I wish there was a map still. And I would LOVE to see graphics of the shadowlands. My one complaint is the overuse of "spangled" but I think, again, that's my personal mental issue not a writing problem.
Regardless, I think HW did a wonderful job with this duology! I really enjoyed it

Fascinating, enlightening, beautiful tribute to Atlanta's founding queens and LGBTQIA+ community. So glad this important piece of Atlanta's history has been compiled and published.

A wonderful general history of Native tribes and the recent SCOTUS rulings that have impacted tribal lands.
I loved This Land (Nagle's podcast) and am so glad I was able to read this as well.

This was a really sweet way to start the new year. The history of bookshops and booksellers is vast. I loved learning!

The way I love these characters.
So many twists and turns in this one that left my mouth agape. I hate to leave them forever so I will definitely be revisiting the Grishaverse

Honestly one of the best memories. Ina and Jeffrey are national treasures.

Listened on audio. Long and detailed account of events leading up to the Civil War - a lot of interesting things I never knew, but I definitely didn't retain as much from this as I expected. Still a worthwhile listen though
