giving this book a generous 2 stars since i was able to read this all in one sitting despite its bland plot and characters 

omg pls that cliffhanger 😭 things definitely pick up in the end and are getting so juicy GSGSGS reed is such a MESS in this book, i love it so much omg. i’ve been going thru it this december so this series has been treating me so well by letting me indulge in all the drama ;-; 

this was a RIDE omg. the grand reveal was predictable to me, but watching it all unfold was still so entertaining!! & I loved the parts where reed stood up for herself. good job, girlie !!! 

ahh, fun to read as always!! things are starting to pick up even more but it was too bad that it got too predictable at a certain point. i don’t mind predictability at all but the same hints were brought up over and over and over again, i was ready to just pass out 💀nevertheless, it was e entertaining enough to be able to hold my interest until the end! + noelle is the most intriguing character to me so far, i can’t wait to know more about her !! 

a quick, fast-paced, drama-filled read that i enjoyed! writing is chefs kiss as always, flows super well!! reed also makes some lowkey dumb decisions here but she’s 15, so she is given the pass 👍 the drama in the sequel is SO much more juicier than the first and that ending…I shall start reading the next one asap 👁👁

a short, fun read!! really liked the writing too! my pea sized brain was able to visualise everything easily :-) i found myself liking reed even though she can be annoying and judgemental at times and make ..interesting decisions but i’ll attribute that to her being a typical dumb teenager. she just wants to be a popular girl so she’s girlbossing her way to her dreams, i can’t get mad at her for that!! the billings girls are low-key a mess jdhshsh and is it just me but i’m getting fruity vibes from them and reed 🍏🍊🍎🍑🤨 

picked this up in a book club, expecting it to an entertaining smutty read but it ended up being a boring, not very spicy and musty smutty read ✋ i think the author tried to write them to have an enemies-to-lovers type of vibe but it did not deliver for me!! there was absolutely no world building at all!! (that would’ve been bearable if i had liked the characters, but i don’t .. so..) also, author uses the word “loins” a lot to describe the mc’s vagina and that deeply disturbs me </3
