My first Murakami novel! I was attracted by its cover and the first page seemed intriguing enough to buy.

I love the intertwining stories of the main characters and Murakami's ability to create a world that feels so real and magical at the same time. I enjoyed the feeling of mystery and not knowing where the story was going. I appreciated the depth and backstories of the two main characters. Murakami describes things in a way that makes the scenes and characters very vivid.

Some parts of the book are a little weird for it to be one of my favorites.
