Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
4.0
Slow to start, but once the stories started to converge I was hooked. I had to know what would happen to Kya and that she’d end up with Tate.
The biggest surprise was that she did it. It seemed so out of character for her and more complicated than she could manage, but she’d been left and hurt so many times, she couldn’t stand by and let it happen again.
This book was an unexpectedly read that kept me turning pages until I’d read the whole thing.
