Pretty good. I liked the court scenes and the mystery aspect but the rest of it fell a little flat for me. I didn't particularly like some of the characters, but the twist kept me reading.

Did not expect to enjoy this book as much as I did. It was like watching a man's obsessions slowly destroy his life.

A good read but something about it was missing for me.  I liked the themes about grief, motherhood and Hamlet the play, but I can't say other aspects were especially memorable.

I feel like a lot of it went over my head but its a great commentary on religion, war, and government. Would also recommend Slaughterhouse Five for readers looking for a similar book

A book I've reread several times and it just keeps getting better.

A very worthwhile read, but not for everyone.  It is pretty graphic and I think a lot of people could be turned off by how dark it is. There are passages that are almost unbearable to read, but there are also plenty of heartwarming moments that make it all worth it. The book is long and tortuous because life is also long and tortuous. But personally, I loved it.
