This book started out interesting, but very quickly became really repetitive and I had a challenging time having an interest or sympathy for the characters. I think it’s okay to pass on this one.

This was a fun thriller. The twist was a tad obvious, but the story was well written enough to where I will read another one of the author’s books.

I would have liked to see more intersectional analysis and trans-inclusive language, but for a book written by a wealthy woman of privilege this was an informative and good read that inspired me to look for other books on the topic.

I really enjoyed this book and it sparked my curiosity to read other authors. In my opinion, that’s a sign the author did a great job, especially with non-fiction.

There was very little moralizing in this book, save the chapters about diet. So it also felt like objective information that I can actually use. This book is great for anyone interested in neuroscience, games, and self improvement.

Fairly entertaining book, but I wouldn’t say there was anything remarkable about it. It somewhat reminded me of Final Girl Support Group but without any notable cleverness. In general it was a fun story if you need a thriller fix.

This was pretty much the same information as most books on secure attachment, but very drawn out.

King’s writing is very descriptive and humorous at times even when the plots are dark. I enjoyed this one much more than I enjoyed my first King novel, Bag of Bones. However, despite him being a good writer, it’s hard to fully endorse his books since he does seem to be a white guy who enjoys creating characters who use the n-word and call women b!tches. Is this a consistent thread in his work? Disappointing if so since he’s so well-beloved.
