i... honestly don't know

I obviously dont like this series, but this book was okay.

I know it's a bit late in this series to say this, but I don't like the POV it's written in. Like it's 3rd person but trying to be 1st person??? idk it's weird

also it felt like the ending was kind of rushed, like all the actual action happened at the END.

anyways i liked the ending, and nothing annoyed me TOO much.

yeah. bye :))

Now, if you absolutely LOVED this book and your like me, your probably thinking, "why on earth did this LOSER rate this amazing book... 3 STARS???" Well, let me tell you.

I'm not going to be like everyone else that rates this lower than 4 stars that says "tHiS bOoK iS sO rAcIsT" because if your like that, get a grip, my word.
I think this was a fine book for school, and definitely deserves to be a 'classic', but it's just not my cup of tea. Scout annoyed the absolute hell of me and Jem was no better. The only half decent characters were Atticus and Calpurnia, which frankly, they deserved more.
The book was slow, and frankly, hard to understand (even while taking notes so I could understand it better!)
The trial was the most interesting part.

I think this is a great book for showing the way the world was and how it can improve. It's a very important part of history but I myself did not find it very interesting.

Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

How do you even write a review on a book about someone's life?
Not gonna lie, I cried a few times reading this, and multiple times had to remind myself that this isn't fiction and this has actually happened and is continuing to happen.
Malala is truly an inspiration

oh my gosh

that..... holy crap. that was amazing.

im legit at a loss for words right now.

the writing is amazing. literally everything in this is quote worthy. i struggled picking quotes for this.

this felt like absolute magic reading, i could really understand the emotions and just how everything was described really was an immersive experience.

love, loss, humor, and also tieing in difficult topics such as racism and war, this was written beautifully. 100% recommend reading this.

hazel and james' light-hearted laughter in the beginning HEALED ME. aubrey is literally the best character ever, and COLETTE. I WOULD DIE FOR HER ACTUALLY. (also can't forget émile I love him)

again everything about this is good. i freaking love you julie berry. also the gods too?? such a wonderful twist.

GO READ‼️

well... i finished it?
ive got to say, this was quite a disappointing read. im not sure what it was, but the storyline felt very... lacking, and kind of thrown together with no real plot.

i was very bored of this book, and ended up getting the audio book. i ended up spacing out a few times while listening so then i would snap out of it and be like "wait... why are we here now? who's that? WHAT-" and be super confused, so that probably didn't help, but i guess the book just didn't really grab my attention.

apollo was funny as usual, but it is getting a little...boring? idk. i am excited for the next one tho bc GROVER‼️‼️ anything for grover.

okay bye :)))

oh my gosh this book was freaking amazing
checked every box I can think of

Christian Allegories✅️
Interesting Plot✅️
Good Quotes✅️
VERY Slow Burn Romance✅️
Me Crying✅️

YEAH I LOVED THIS BOOK
read it for the ✨️christmas vibes cuz its december✨️ and honestly was very nervous to start. it's a little hard to find good christian fantasy books that are actually interesting these days but THIS, this was good.

it's a mix of narnia, percy jackson, and a little bit of mia and me (iykyk) it made me want to curl up under some blankets with a nice hot coco🎀❄️🍫

though there are some things i disliked, (not that deep tho)
1. Helen was a little annoying at times, making stupid decisions (as you do as the main character)
2. there isn't much world building, you're kinda just THROWN into the story, which on one hand is a super interesting idea, learning right along with the main character, but on the other hand, it was downright hard to follow at times.

carrying on with number 2, the parts where it was confusing ended up making sense on why we weren't being told what was going on until later. (ex. emily parker, i wrote multiple times in my book "WHO THE FLIP IS SHE" but holding back and just mentioning her name gave it suspense and was cool)

the whole side plot of emily was cool, and i wanna know more🤭😼

I SCREAMED EVERYTIME ZANE AND HELEN WERE WITHIN 100 FEET OF EACHOTHER TO KISS LIKE PLEASE I JUST WANT TO REACH THROUGH THE PAGES AND GRAB THEM BY THE HEADS AND SLAM THEM TOGETHER PLEASE AND THANK YOU

they better get together in one of the other books or im coming for you jennifer.

one last note: LOVED THE CHRISTIAN ALLEGORIES SMMMM❤️❤️❤️❤️✝️

okay yeah bye read this😘
