Where to begin?
If I could rate a book 0 stars I would. I DNF'd at chapter 9.
My wonderful best friend bought me this book for Christmas, which I absolutely love her so I'm not saying anything against her for buying it.
Before I get into bashing this book, I would like to state that I'm Christian. I believe in God. Do with that information what you will.
--------------
To begin with, when I started the book I had a vague idea of what the book was about, witches, demons, a murder, and a romance. Now I'm no stranger to demons and murder but from my understanding (feel free to correct me!) this girl falls in love with a demon prince. Uhm... why?
The main characters only characteristics are cooking and revenge. Like girl could have added at least.. a little but more personality to her!
I have to give props to the murder scene, it did kinda creep me out, and her breakdown was good.
I was completely determined to finish this book, but what really got me was one specific line. "I wish he would turn away from God for once and worship me." Now that isn't the e x a c t line but it's pretty close.
-------------
Hated this book and everything about it.
Again, take this however you wish, but I personally will never pick it up again.

AND THAT IS HOW YOU END A BOOK BUT STILL LEAVE READERS WANTING MORE!
I literally binge read this. The cliffhangers at the end of each chapter left me ON EDGE. Nico POV??? REYNA POV???? I LOVE YOU RICK.
Also some if those fight scenes were low-key a bit more gruesome then I expected

Probably my least favorite in the series so far, but still a great book. The plot is really good but kind of drawn out, and the book is a bit long for how much that actually happens, but the amount of quotable stuff/ stuff I underlined SO made up for it.
I loved seeing everyone's dynamic together, and getting percabeth was just a gift sent from Heaven. THE PLOT TWIST AT THE END THO? NOT COOL RICK, NOT COOL. (jk im so excited for book 4)
uhm yeah overall I'd rate this 4.75⭐️ GO READ IT

I technically didn't even read this book and I feel like I'm qualified to write a review.
So first off, my mom bought me this book for school but I never ended up reading it because of all the profanity. And today I decided I would rip out pages from the book and cut out quotes I liked. I didn't really like any of the quotes.
Again, I technically didn't read the book but I skimmed through the pages trying to find quotes. Half the book is profanity, which is annoying as hell???? Like yeah, I swear but not that much omw. The entire book is basically just Miss Starr being emo because her friend got shot and her saying how he deserves justice or whatever. Which yeah, but still! Add some plot my WORD. Also I'm 99% sure there's a dude named Seven? Like wtf kinda name is SEVEN. Half the names felt like a fever dream. I know the book is supposed to be against racism, which is fine and all, a lot of my friend's are black, but this book had a weird flipping way of going about it.
Again, didn't read the book, but from what I saw, I don't think I ever will.

After, I think, 6 months(?) of reading this series I have finally finished.
It was quite the emotional rollercoaster, I do believe I cried every book.
For these books to be for kids ages 7-10, I, a 13 year old, and my mom, a 55 year old, loved these books.
This is probably one of my favorites out of the series, and such a beautiful ending to these great books. I hope they shall be remembered forever, and not just as a little children's books about dragons, but as a beautiful story about love and loss, war and peace, with a little humor mixed in here in there.
If you haven't read these books I do hope you will for it is such a beautiful story.
