I enjoyed reading this horror poetry inspired by Shirley Jackson! Very fun if you like We Have Always Lived in the Castle. Interesting reflections on life, pregnancy, existence.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It’s a thoughtful memoir that weaves together queer life and deep sea creatures in a satisfying way. If you’re deciding whether or not to read this book, I say: read it!

I really enjoyed this book. I really loved Barnes’ last book, Dead Silence, and this scratches the itch for more space horror. I didn’t like these characters as much as the ones in the last book, but the story was really intriguing. I’ll definitely continue to read Barnes!

Listen, I’m glad I read Dracula. Parts were very fun, especially in the first quarter. Second half drags… but honestly, consider reading this if you haven’t read it before and you enjoy horror lit.

I learned while reading this that I don’t really enjoy cozy lit. I can see how it would be run and relaxing for folks who enjoy the genre. I’d recommend this to people who are curious about daily life at the inn in their D&D campaigns!

This was not my personal favorite book by Moreno-Garcia. At times it felt like it was taking itself too seriously. The themes weighed down the plot in a way that made neither very effective, which is a shame because it was a fun premise.
