I wanted to give this five stars - but decided I might be over-reacting. I should save my five star ratings for Pillars of the Earth Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.

But this book was a joy to read. Comey was honest & forthright, and I feel like I really know the man now. A man that loves his family, and has a wife who is as dedicated to his success as he is to being the best man he can be. Flaws and all.

The opposite of the sensational Fire & Fury, Comey lays out his life, his interactions with politicians and candidates, and his career path as factually as he can. Because let's face it, the facts speak for themselves.

I look forward to reading this again in a few years, for a sense of perspective on the politically ridiculous era that surrounds us now. For now, it was a lovely dose of sanity amidst the chaos that is Washington, DC.

Can't remember who recommended this book, but I'm glad they did.

You could argue about the writing style, but the subject matter is important and real. A combination of On the Beach, Lord of the Flies and Animal Farm thrown into dystopian America, suddenly without electricity, running cars, and all the *luxuries* that have become our essentials.

Think you're a good person? Read this and ponder whether that's really true.
