McCurdy has a very specific and honest way of portraying the way things happened and the way she was feeling while they were happening, as well as a really amazing grasp of her perspectives at each time in her life. I loved the sectioning of the book! A very good read, and an interesting perspective into how the film industry was at that time. Definitely a cultural touchstone. She will be remembered for this.

This was really interesting and thought provoking, though it didn't fully capture me the way other books often do, I'm not really sure why. Still, really interesting, and a good concept to discuss with others.
