I read this book in one sitting. It is a thought provoking read that shows the power struggle between teachers (who truly care about their students), administrators and students; the emotional turmoil of kids being bullied; and sheds light on how so many schools today are more concerned about how they appear to the public rather than the well-being of the students.

It's funny how life brings us full circle to the things we try to run away from. The main character runs from the very thing he fears, only to find out it's the very thing he wants most. The range of emotions and the complexities of his relationships are beautifully written and very moving.

She captures the human spirit so well. Her characters capture the good and bad of human nature.

This is a wonderful book about our First Lady's passion to take back our food. Her passion for healthy food is beautifully conveyed through the words and pictures in this book. There are wonderful stories of gardens all over the U.S., lots of great gardening tips, and wonderful recipes that I cannot wait to try with my own homegrown produce.
