This world of yummy baseball players and the women that bring them to their knees....๐ค๐ป.
๐ This book brings us to Kyle & Harper's story. These two.....they stole my soul and didn't give it back! I adored Harper and her kiddos. Sweet Piper and Sam truly lent a beautiful part to the journey. And, watching Kyle with them???? Can we say *SWOON*!!!!

Okay, dark romance lovers. Let me tell you about ๐ป๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐'๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐. If you have zero triggers, you absolutely need to devour this one up now. I have none, and that's what I did. I basically ignored my family (not really, but I wanted to ๐) while diving into this one. It was worth it!

I am not sure I want to say goodbye to this beautiful town, these amazing characters & all the emotions it brings! But, say goodbye we must, & what better way than with Lock & Callie's epically chiseled story!
Oh, my dear Lock, you stole my heart! I adored the way he was with Callie. He broke her heart, albeit unintentionally, many moons ago & now they are both back in Misty Peak. Sweet Callie....she went through so much heartache after Lock. She absolutely stole my heart as equally as Lock did!
But, their story doesn't come easy. From the misunderstanding of their past, to the person who can't seem to let Callie go, ๐ฝ๐ข๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ weaves their story with high tension, roller coaster twists, & epic small town family. From the first word to the last, I was in it til the end. My heart pounded right along with Callie's. My emotions grew strong right along with Lock's. I was on the edge of my seat so many times! It was the best feelings!

If there is a Queen of romantic suspense, it is the amazingly talented ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐๐. She never fails to bring us absolutely Swoonworthy grumps, and the sunshine-y women that thaw them. And, this one had the added addition of an adorable basset hound & sweet three legged feline!
If you love true crime shows & podcasts, this book is for you. I loved following Ridley. She lost her sister many years ago, and now she has a true crime podcast set to help others. But, when she arrives in Shady Cove, there's a certain grumpy sheriff who takes her breath away. But, despite that, she's still after finding out what happened to her twin, and there is a missing piece to the puzzle that the sheriff just may be able to help her with.
I loved the tension between Colt & Ridley. The enemies to lovers, was enemies to lovers-ing in the best way! Watching Colt's grumpy heart melt for Ridley was so addicting! The passion between them was absolutely undeniable! Throw in the banter and their story was epic!
Having ๐ด๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐ก & ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ก๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ co-narrate this story was perfection. They bring all the feels, all the angst, all the banter & droolworthiness!

I'm a sucker for a good MC romance, and Christmas so this novella was absolutely perfect!! This is my first ๐ณ๐๐๐๐ข ๐ฑ๐๐๐๐ book and it's not going to be my last! I had this one completed in less than two hours, so it was a great one to fill the space while I picked out my next listen.
