somehow conflicted because these two were such tragic characters in their own way, and no they did not belong together
i’m confused as why some of the readers have a harder time accepting Nastenka’s choice than the narrator himself

they said dragons, sapphic yearning and tudors and I ran

this book was very much my cup of tea, a bit slow in the beginning but a true page turner as the story unfolded
I love the world this story takes place in and my dear queens!!!
so excited for the other books to come out

malheureusement celui que j’aime le moins des 3 même si il reste génial
l’écriture est parfois un peu trop pour moi j’avoue
sinon l’histoire reste captivante et trop bien

it’s hard for me getting into other genres than fantasy and I was pleasantly surprised at how invested I was in this book
evelyn is a perfect anti hero and a complex female lead and I loved it
the « plot twist » was very much noticeable for me but I still enjoyed it

debating if this is a 1.5 or a 2 but overall it’s was pretty bad
there are maybe 4 quotes that actually resonated with me
it just sounds so quirky and it’s so 2014 insta poetry coded…

I only enjoyed the 4th part tbh
most of the time I was fighting the urge to close the book in disgust
the ending was quite good though and it actually got me emotional

I’m not very educated on school shootings but in any case the book is low-key not good. Like very boring. I had to push through to not just give up at the beginning. It gets better chapter by chapter though.
