Sometimes a little stilted, but overall gorgeous and hopeful.

This was a great read - very conversational, thoughtful, the pictures at the end are cool. I've been wanting to learn more about fashion and fashion history & this was a great piece of nonfiction that was both informative and enjoyable (a hard combo, imo).

This felt a bit slow & clumsy at the beginning, but picked up a bit as it went on. I'm not in a rush to read the next book, but definitely will at some point.
