The concept is interesting and there are some strong moments. But there's also a lot of elements that are too unreal to ignore - characters who are seriously injured and then back up and moving a day later, horses that only kind of get tired, etc. If there's a sequel, I will read it.

This was fun and I think the general idea of looking at things used everyday is good. The framing story is a bit stilted though.
