The Blood Cell by James Goss
3.0
It was just OK. Not a huge fan of the POV or the anti-climatic ending. What he did best was truly capturing the essence of Clara. Beyond that, I'm not sure I'd read it again.
Doctor Who: The Clockwise Man by Justin Richards
4.0
I feel like Justin Richards did an amazing job of capturing the sass of 9 and the determination of Rose. This book has suspense, plot twists, and great mystery. I would probably give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
In addition: I really enjoyed how The Doctor doesn't curse in this novel. I've noticed that some of the other Doctor Who authors have their Doctors occasionally curse, which is outside the personality of the TV Doctor. It breaks the "realism" of the novel for me and I appreciated that Richards stuck to the true personality of The Doctor.

Day 21 by Kass Morgan
3.0
It was much better than the first 100 book, but I still think it only deserves 3 stars. I think that [a:Kass Morgan|6922454|Kass Morgan|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1369325106p2/6922454.jpg] really pulled the book into a different direction than the TV show which was nice. The book is way more romance and way less violent than the TV show, but in a refreshing way. Great developments for Bellarke fans.
Homecoming by Kass Morgan

None of this series was what I had expected. Kass Morgan tried to give this installment a little more war and a little more plot twists, but it could have been better.
The 100 by Kass Morgan
3.0
DO NOT COMPARE THIS BOOK TO THE TV SHOW. I have seen every episode of The 100 to-date and can say that the show is an ADAPTATION of the book. Heck, I basically view them as two completely different universes.
With that being said, I enjoyed the book. I really liked how each chapter followed a different viewpoint (bouncing between Clarke, Bellamy, Wells, and Glass). I was a little disappointed with how little descriptive writing was present. There were certainly some very poetic moments, but I didn't feel them.
I will definitely continue reading the series and I will definitely continue watching the show. Both have their high points and low points, and both have so much to offer.
