This was as much fun as the first. I love the action rom-com feel with just the slightest hint of fantasy. I feel like the progression of the characters and relationships is perfectly paced.
I still say if you love The Mummy, you should read this.

This was the perfect mood read for Christmas Eve. Hallmark in a book. Good angst between the two MCs. It was fun!

This book was my least favorite of the series. I fell like everything wrapped up well enough, but it was very drawn out and boring. And then the “big stuff” happened in like a page and a half for each thing. Then there was hardly any spicy scenes. Or they were really rushed. It just felt like all the boring stuff was what took over here. I’m still not sure of the timelines of when anything happened, just like all the other books, it just shifted “several days”. Idk this was a let down of an ending for the series.

This was a lot of fun! If you like The Mummy or The Librarian, you will like this. Slow burn, but a great time!

This one was a little more boring and the formula being used is obvious here. I still feel like the world building/ flushing out is a little clunky. There is a lot of stuff, like timelines and side characters that is inconsistent and flip floppy. But overall still enjoyable. I’m still going to read on in the series.
