This was so good! I love the Chaos MC world. I liked how this story didn’t have a 3rd act breakup. It was fun, sexy, lighthearted, but serious. Such a great time!

ARC Read

This was such a cute prequel novella. I loved Kate’s sassiness! Frank was adorable. I wish we had gotten a little more of him, but I get it, short book.

I loved all the 80s callouts! They were fun and added such a great level of comedy.

I do wish that there was a little less miscommunication on her part. All her issues would be resolved if she just talked to him. Frank’s “issue” in the story felt a little forced, I honestly didn’t see why he would be called an airhead or anything to substantiate it.

Overall this was such a fun story and a great way to spend a few hours! I really enjoy this world so seeing the start was fun!!

Idk…. This book is a little….non-consenting. By little I mean many time thought the actual final line wasn’t crossed… then she’s just in love with him? Like she’s his mate… idk. This was just a weirdly uncomfortable book like I didn’t even believe his constant S.A.s, like they came out of nowhere and he’d say he was never doing it again. I’m just the most toxic red-flag boy….

I don’t even know how to logically explain this book or my feeling an about it. Like it just severely toed the line the whole book. Just got right to the edge. I didn’t trust anyone thought, feelings, or actions.

This one was a little more scattered than the first IMO. I had a great time though.

I really could have done without Kirsi’s POVs though they didn’t really engage me and I think we could have still gotten to the end of the story well enough without them.

We added a lot of new characters in the book overall, almost too many to really get close to. Still completely worth the read though.

Wow. I went into this not expecting for this to be as rich and wonderful as it was. I love me a bad guy who shows us how he’s bad and how he’s not. I love the world here, it was interesting  and fresh while also not trying to reinvent the wheel. I love the trials in this story. Just everything. I loved this.

I devoured this book. I loved how the characters relationship evolved. It was, in my opinion, perfectly balanced between spicy scenes and regular scenes. It’s not just vanilla either, and I felt like it felt natural. I wish we got a little more of a wrap up of the outside of their relationship stuff, but I get that this book wasn’t really about that.

One thing that did annoy me a little was how the FMC kind of expected him to take all the blame for their issues as a couple, which he definitely did worse stuff, but she still had a hand in it. She’s mad that he didn’t communicate, but then again, neither did she.

But overall, I loved this book. I highly recommend it if you want to try sports romance but like spicier book. Actually I just recommend this book.
