wow um.. OUCH.

i sobbed so uncontrollably i don’t even think i’m in the headspace for writing a review right now so that isn’t going to happen.

however i would like to dedicate my 50th book of the year to this masterpiece. the pain was insufferable.

okay i’m back! this book was a masterpiece. it didn’t have to absolutely destroy my heart the way it did but i still love it. the book being written by death was so chef’s kiss. but truly you haven’t experienced a heart breaking book until you read this one.

it will rip you apart. even if you don’t read historical fiction (which i don’t) it doesn’t matter. you will enjoy this book because this book is absolute art.

i actually liked this book and it’s one of my favorite classics i’ve read but there are some down falls.
the book was so unnecessary long. 61 chapters for this story line is insane. why they all talk in paragraphs, it was such a turn off honestly.

but good things: there were plot twists. like towards the end i started to GASP. i didn’t dread reading this but i would like it more if i had time. ap lit status :)

w mary. underrated sister.
darcy and elizabeth forever. i think we have to take this time period into account bc i was kinda sad they didn’t interact in the ways i wanted them to!

can i start with the fact that this book brought me actual pain. like i genuinely stopped talking to other people because i was so indulged in this book.

i feel like i can’t process emotions. YALL TALKING ABOUT THE FOURTH NOVEMBER??? fifth november is where it’s at. little had to put the book down and go to sleep. and then i thought about the book in my sleep so much that i woke up early and finished the book.

mixed feelings about ben. like i was kinda on a ben rollercoaster. FALLON MY GIRL. i feel like she gives the best hugs and i just wanna hug her. i LOVED her mom.

guys i loved this book 🥲 i really did. it got me out of my reading slump and it brought so much pain and mind spinning that i think everyone needs at least once in their lives.

colleen hoover. you are a menace to society. thank you for this.

wow guess who finally finished this book! anyways it was okay. i think it would have been better if i didn’t get really busy with school and have no time to read this but it’s okay. the ending was a let down for me but ik alot of people enjoy this book but again the long pause i took in between this book messed me up

guys i didn’t like this book as much as everyone else liked it. did i love chole? yes 100% but did this book miss for me just a little? yes 100%

now i could just be in a slump from summer reading but this book was just okay for me. i loved the representation chronic illness i think they author did so well with writing chole. oh i also loved how the author covered red’s character.

idk i just couldn’t love this. i ended up speed reading the end bc i was over it. maybe i’ll try the other books in the series. also guys some seller or non seller points: they’re british, the book is in third person, and red’s pov not pov but if yk yk addressed the vagina as a cunt. is that british terminology??
