i enjoyed this book!!

marcus gifting sloan old books, learning hindi for her, and buying her a house

was SO CUTE. this book did teach me that i don’t really like billionaire romances anymore (probably because i’m dead broke), but i still enjoyed myself while reading it. 

also, as a fellow mixed girl, sloan made me feel seen <3 it’s hard feeling like you don’t really belong in either community, and seeing sloan embrace her culture even if she felt like an imposter was cathartic for me
