<strong>Insanity.</strong>

The MMC is clinically insane, I swear. But did I eat it up? Why yes, yes I did. I’m over here telling my husband about this book and everything the MMC has done and he’s looking at me like I’ve lost my mind. Maybe I have but it makes for one hell of an entertaining read.

The reviews for this book are pretty mixed but I for one enjoyed it. The MMC (Hayden) is truly unhinged and demented. Yes the FMC (Callie)can be a little bit dumb but I don’t think characters should be so perfect, no matter the genre.

The book is a stalker dark romance and you get exactly that. Hayden is truly unhinged and absolutely delicious. The mouth on him? Good lord, take the wheel. I’m sorry but I truly enjoyed him being an absolute red flag. Would I want him in real life? Absolutely not but in a book? Hell yeah. I will give it to him for being dead honest with who he is and his behavior. Callie is just a bit delulu.

Can we also take a moment to talk about Callie’s best friend? I absolutely loved the way she was so blunt, and just said whatever she wants. She made me crack up quite a few times which I wasn’t expecting given the themes of the book.

It does end on a cliffhanger and just keep in mind that book 2 is not on KU and a wee bit expensive for an indie book. I bought it anyway because I’ve got to know how their story wraps up.

TAYLOR!!!! This was so good!! First dark romance?? Who? WHAT? You were made to write this genre, I swear it.

Can Creed be mine? He is the most perfect alphahole. The smut??? *queue flailing*

What to 1000% look forward to:
-Killer on the loose. Who done it?
-Mafia (this was a welcome surprise)
-Forced Marriage
-Dark
-Squirting
-There's a scene where they do the horizontal tango in front of his men and I screamed into a pillow.
-He is O B S E S S E D with her.
-Definitely touch her and d!e vibes.

I need the next one yesterday.
