I would first of all just like to make it clear that I recognise I’m not the target audience and that is okay. Take my opinions with a grain of salt or whatever.

But overall? The writing was okay. Nothing special. But good enough. And if the plot was good, would’ve been greatly overlooked.

I just think that it’s advertised in the blurb as a friends to lovers / fake dating book. BUT it’s not. They’re friends in one chapter. And together the next. There’s no development in there. And there’s no fake dating either??? Like she asks him to be her fake date. And then they fuck and date like 2-3 chapters later.

maybe I’m just a picky reader (I am) but idk. There was just overall little development and too many characters. I still don’t remember which brother is which bc they’re practically all introduced in the same scene and it’s too much.

Plus. Chris being a millionaire and pro player. Did not need to be mentioned nearly as much. Give him some actual personality 😭

Either way. Fun title!

The writing was good, a little too reflective for my taste. But the dialogue was great, especially at the start! I just didn’t like how it was referred to as being solely fwb through even tho it was known by both characters throughout. Idk. Felt a little misleading or misinterpreted I guess?
