I don't know, for some reason this is my least favourite in the series?

THIS WAS SO GREAT. The writing honestly wasn't amazing, but the unique premise and the riveting plot certainly made up for that. I can't wait to continue on with this series!

Up in Flames, Volume 14: A Rosemary Beach Novel by Abbi Glines

Y'all know I absolutely adore the Rosemary Beach series and it pains me greatly to say this, but this book was honestly a disaster. On the first sentence of the blurb it literally calls the main character a slut. -_- HOW IS THIS OKAY????????????
We were finally getting Nan's side of the story! I was so excited! But reading from Nan's point of view felt like a joke. It wasn't believable to me AT ALL. This Nan was COMPLETELY different from the Nan in the other books. She didn't have the same characteristics as previous Nan. She just decided all of a sudden to like all these people she used to despise? And the relationship that developed was uncomfortable to read because of the abusive behaviour and how this behaviour was seen as 'erotic' and 'sexy' instead of disturbing and unhealthy.
The ending was also SUCH A COPOUT. I am so disappointed. This book was horrible and I'm so sad about it.
