I loved this book! I’m looking forward to the next book already. The only thing I had trouble with was my lack of education on the clothing names. Every time the author described what was worn, for this book and context was important, I kept having to look up what the garment was. So kudos to not only writing an awesome book but making me learn new things! I totally loved that! 💕

Imagine me running all over my house freaking tf out over certain points in the book that finally click then the ending hits! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFeckin hell this was a damn good book!
I loved (and hated some) the characters that surrounded the FMC. The story is a work of art! The writing and planning that went into this story *frech kiss* muah!
5 stars. 10 stars! 10 billion stars!
I’m off to read the next book kthxbai 👹

Definitely more complex and political in nature than the first book, but it was interesting to see the rising of a government came to be. I enjoyed the FMCs growth in leadership. More excited about the third book now and how this book impacts the next events.
Medium level read. Female empowerment. LGBTQIA+ friendly. Futuristic while also (faux) historical at the same time.

Good but not great. I’ll read the second book when it’s released.
You go from one way of life to another from the POV of the FMCs. Fight, save ze world, saphhic, fae/elves, magic, your typical romance fantasy. Two orgies and sex on the beach later, evil plots happen, yeah. A good light read. It’s not my best read of all time, but it was a good one.

I really love the series. I guess I'm waiting for book #5 to come out like everyone else.
To be honest, it is "just another vampire" series. However, I'm a fan of how this author writes, which truly says a lot because if an author cannot express the story...well, let's just say I throw it on my bookshelf of "ehhhhh, I'll read it when I have nothing else to read." There's always something else to read.
While I might not have a blog, like most reviewers it seems, I do have to complain that while I like the author's writing style, she either forgot to reference her character personality sheets on Alice. Alice does some things that I can't find her doing if I dissect her character traits, personality, history, etcetera. At least that's the only complaint I have, and I'm not going to knock a star off because of it. ☺️✌️
