This was so fun, and the short stories that make up this anthology were solid reads. I was laughing out loud, while also creeped the hell out in "Queeniums for Greenium!" by Brittney Morris. Those visuals are now implanted in my brain...Thank you lol.

While Jordan Peele wrote, "Out There Screaming: An Anthology of New Black Horror," "The Black Girl Survives in This One," invites YA readers to feast upon quality horror that puts Black women and their voices to the front. These are bad ass women, who are not final girls, they're girls who are standing with other women who chose to fight and stand up to the beasts that haunt the night. They're girls who are inspiring other women...generations, along the way! We learn from these women, and they don't only exist in the horror movies or books. They're all around us, fighting everyday.
