Letter to His Father by Franz Kafka

i started reading this letter because i played the MazM game Kafka's Metamorphosis which really shows Franz Kafka's life and the situations that brought him to write Metamorphosis and the Judgement. there his relationship with his father was shown pretty well which made me curios to read this letter and see how much it was based on this. and yes they did it well.
i think Franz Kafka would've loved the new era of psychotherapy. he seemed to have really done inner work to understand himself for why he is the way he is and how his father had a huge negative influence on him, it was incredible. that being said I felt bad to know his father never got to read this letter which means their relationship never got better... speaking of their relationship, I related more than I thought I did. i too have a complicated relationship with my father. i too am the oldest child and I guess that put me and Kafka both too much in the spotlight of our dads, them wanting us to be better and obeying him in every way. i too have a tongue that doesn't shut up and gets me into trouble more than any of my siblings do. my dad too was always harsh on me (even physically as a kid) and his words always felt like bullets. although I also don't have a great relationship with my mother but that's a topic for another day. it felt interesting seeing how even though Franz was an adult he very much still was a victim of his dad, which was way too real for me. his reasons for not getting married felt like mine for not wanting to either. the way he had weak health and was told it was hypochondria was spot on with mine. he feels too much like a chronically ill autistic guy with general anxiety it hurts to know he never was understood. I'm glad to see someone like him getting recognition and love although after his death... this gave me too many mixed emotions but I'm glad I read it. It feels wild to see how others have fathers similar to mine.

now i'm gonna read the manga from when the anime's s1 ended. i don't wanna read it from the beginning cause it's boring to see the same story again so soon (I literally started the anime last week). i love this story so much, and the world building is so uniqueee

Cute, loved the first part of building the coffee shop and how more and more products got added. The aspect of found family was so sweet and Tandri was such a supportive partner. That said the non cozy parts made me confused most of the time and i blame it being an audiobook for that cause the names just confused me.
The ending speech and stuff almost made me tear up. I didn't  pay much attention to the short story in the end, my brain is fired these days so no comments on that. I'll read it again maybe.

i didn't know it was actually from the singer of Girl on Fire lol. even though I obviously noticed the title but I'm dumb lol. the story was interesting, nerdy outcast girl gets confident story mixed with growing up in the hood story. i wish the story was longer though, otherwise I enjoyed it. the art style was pretty. also she was not in fire cause her powers were not fire related at all lol

eh not that exciting beginning to this year but oh well. i feel like these are pretty unnecessary additions that will get sales just because of nostalgia. like I loved PJO and HOO so of course I felt inclined to give these a try even if they don't add anything. like none of Percy and Annabeth's friends from the 7 or should I say the 9 got mentioned in this one whatsoever which was disappointing. it wasn't that exciting and honestly, I got too distracted to even listen.... will I still read the rest? hack yes but at least Rick isn't getting any money from me cause I'm listening to them through Libby only

I'm still interested what happen next. Still weird how the MC is so bland and similar to the character that boys in isekai insert themselves to when this manga series is actually targeted towards girls. But oh well the ither character designs ATE
