It's still an attractive and steamy read as much as book 1, but I can't help feeling that this book drags on quite a bit. I've seen some other reviews where people said if this book is printed at a normal font size, it would have been 1000 pages. Now I didn't know that bc I read on Kindle, but I can't help feeling a bit tired out when the percentage moved so slowly even though I've done so much reading. Again, the book also read like fanfiction at times, but I'm not one to complain about that 🤷‍♂️

Otherwise, huge compliments to the world building, the plot twists and the story. Will be eagerly waiting for book 3 next year.

This book has an interesting premise but took a VERY long time to reach the conclusion (was it even a conclusion?). I was so surprised when I found out this book is only 300 pages long, as I read it on Kindle, because it felt like a 500 pages book. The ending felt very rushed, it seems like at some point the author just got tired of writing and wanted to move on (the same way I got tired of the story and just wanted to rush through to the end).
