Broke my heart into about a million tiny pieces as it had me uncontrollably crying through at least half of it, and has left me feeling incredibly grateful to have been able to read and experience  this breathtaking tale of devastation and hope.

However, I wasn’t quite as convinced until about halfway through. The second half seemed much more powerful and immersing.

Not quite as good as Owen Meany but does get reasonably near it.
