fantastic, life-changing, inspiring, never been done before, etc. etc., but genuinely i love this adaptation, all the extra content and adjustments to plot and dialogue is making my heart very happy..plus the art is very cute

damn. i dont even know where to begin. that was a really good, gutting, horrific, insightful, educational, beautiful book. such a unique take on prose. i really don't think i've ever read a book like this. highly recommend, but please check trigger warnings if you do decide to check it out!

love it. loveeeee it. i dont remember if ive read this volume yet or not, but i definitely didnt remember any of the adjustments to the story if i have. i really love the whole of the persona 5 franchise though, and this manga adaptation is no different! hoping to space out reading these volumes a little bit.

brb im mourning ... ok but srsly this book is Fantastic and i cant believe it took me so long to read it !!! this is just a phenomenal read. i went between my physical copy and audiobook for this one and the audiobook was SO good and kept me hooked, especially throughout the beginning of the book. i highly recommend to anyone who can stomach really gritty, dark, gothic fantasy retellings and thoroughly enjoys the genre (just be aware of content warnings!)

4 stars for consistency's sake, however i am not continuing and will be dnf'ing this series and selling all 3 volumes i own lol. it's a psychological thriller alright! the horror content and horrible shit is consistent, so if you're looking for shock value and gratuitous violence that doesn't serve the plot, then sure, you got it. however the amount of unnecessary SA/CSA in this series is absolutely ridiculous and unwarranted. so sorry but it does nothing for my interest in the series and could've been removed entirely. truly wishing i was jared, 19, never learned how to read. and horror is my favorite genre, if that says anything. i wish i never read this, will be moving on with my life thanks!

that was deeply unsatisfying....a book where too much and not enough happened at the same time...i cannot believe that was my 50th read of the year...at least i reached my goal! solid 2.5 :/
